Welcome to The Bakehouse Derby - These Terms & Conditions explain the terms that apply when using our website and purchasing products from us.

By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

Postal Bakes & Delivery Orders

We offer postal bakes through selected delivery drops only. These dates will be announced in advance alongside each menu release.

All postal orders are handmade in small batches and prepared fresh for each delivery window. Orders are dispatched according to the dates provided at checkout.

Delivery is made using Royal Mail Tracked 24. While Royal Mail aims to deliver the next working day after dispatch, this is not a guaranteed service and delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances outside of our control.

Please ensure your delivery details are entered correctly at checkout. We cannot accept responsibility for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect information being provided.

Due to the fresh and perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns, cancellations or exchanges once an order has been confirmed, unless required by law.

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will always do our best to help.

The Weekend Society Pre-Orders

The Weekend Society is our monthly bakery opening, where customers can pre-order a selection of handmade bakes, pastries and drinks for collection from our home bakery in Mickleover, Derby.

Menus will be released a few days before each opening, with limited quantities available.

Once your order has been placed and payment has been received, you will receive an order confirmation. Please check your order details carefully before completing payment.

Collection takes place during the advertised Weekend Society opening hours. Customers are responsible for collecting their order within the stated collection window.

If you are unable to collect your order, please contact us as soon as possible. While we will always try to help where possible, we cannot guarantee late collections.

As all products are prepared fresh to order, refunds will not be given for orders that are not collected.

Bespoke Cakes

We offer a limited number of bespoke cake bookings throughout the year.

To enquire about a bespoke cake, please complete the enquiry form on our website with as much information as possible, including your preferred date, serving size, flavour and design ideas.

Submitting an enquiry form does not guarantee a booking. All enquiries will be discussed via email, where we will confirm availability, provide a quotation and agree the final design details.

A booking is only confirmed once a deposit or full payment has been received, as agreed during the booking process.

Where a deposit is taken, the remaining balance must be paid before collection. Payment deadlines will be confirmed when your booking is secured.

Collection dates and times will be agreed in advance. Customers are responsible for collecting their cake at the arranged time.

As bespoke cakes are made to order and personalised specifically for each customer, deposits are non-refundable and orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once work has commenced, except where required by law.

While we will always aim to recreate any inspiration images provided, all cakes are handmade and slight variations in colour, decoration and finish may occur.

Products & Availability

All products are handmade in small batches, meaning availability may vary.

We take care to ensure product descriptions and photographs are accurate, however as everything is handmade, slight variations in appearance, colour and decoration may occur.

We reserve the right to update menus, change products or remove items from sale where necessary.

Allergens & Dietary Requirements

Please check our Allergens Information before ordering.

Our bakery handles allergens including gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, soya and other ingredients. While we take care when preparing products, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of allergens.

If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, please contact us before placing your order.

Payments

All orders must be paid for in full at checkout.

Prices are shown in GBP (£). We reserve the right to update prices, but any changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

All content on this website, including photography, branding, text and designs, belongs to The Weekend Society and may not be copied or used without permission.

We aim to keep all website information accurate and up to date, however details such as menus, availability and product information may change.

We respect your privacy and only use your personal information to process orders, communicate with you and provide our services.
